Treasurer’s Report: Betty Ludwig stated that the account balance as of December 1st was $34,362.76. Income for December was $15,162.30 and expenses were $7,684.63, leaving a balance as of December 31st $41,840.43. Some of our income included a donation from Merrill Lynch for $50, Breakfast With Santa $2,029 with expenses of $527.19, concession sales and donations $519.50, ornament sales $267.00. Thank you to Kathy Groover for coordinating this sale. Although our balance for the general account is high at month’s end, we have yet to make the payment for our NYC trip as well as paying for our new sound system. About $14,000 will be debited soon.

Dean Kirschling took a moment to thank everyone who helped put the Feeder Pattern Concert together. He stated that it was the best we have done and there was an abundance of positive feedback this year. A very special thank you to Nick Hilton for the trophy case he made for our awards. Please take a moment to check it out in the hallway and thank him when you get a chance.

Director’s Report: Mrs. Caulfield stated that she received many direct emails from principals, administration staff, teachers and parents regarding the concert. Thank you to all who helped!

We are in the final stretch for Indoor Competition season. Flags are getting done but we do need some help. Laura Hogan is taking care of the uniforms for the color guard. Maggi Gasemy is working on the percussion uniforms and could use some help. The new floor purchased by the Band Boosters will be painted on Friday.

The All County Concerts are coming up in February. February 4th will be the high school concert and February 11th will be the middle school concert. We will be selling the tickets and providing concessions. Peggy Landis and Nancy Voell have volunteered to help out.

On February 8th, we will be having our Academic Planning Night. Both the color guard and drum line will perform at this event. We will need two parents to help with the TJ Band booth and with concessions

NYC Trip: Julie Marker met with the Kewl representative and gave her our deposits and the names of those people going. There is no show information at this time. We have one parent spot open for chaperoning if anyone would like to join.

Newsletter: Bill Smith reported that the newsletter is being put together at this time and will be out soon.

Student Accounts: Andy Hogan reported that accounts are not too bad right now but please keep on top of them and contact Laura with any questions.

Fundraisers: Peggy Landis stated that candy bars are available to sell; please see her if you would like a box.

With no other topics of discussion, a motion was made by Mike Hillman to adjourn the meeting. It was seconded by Peggy Landis and unanimously approved.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:27p.

Respectfully submitted,
Kathy Schiller
Secretary
