2007/2008 Chapter 5 Marching Band Champions

A couple of reminders:

Walmart Raffle Tickets: For those of you who expressed an interest in helping out with the Walmart Raffle Tickets with Trish Colwell, please come to a meeting being held in the Chorus room Wednesday evening Aug. 20th at 8:30 pm. Please remember this fundraiser will help raise funds for the very much needed New Band Uniforms for our kids. If you are a Freshman, Sophmore or Junior Parent you know how important this fundraiser is.

From the 50 Yard Line: This film follows a marching band through band camp, auditions, the marching season, and the regional and national competitions in 2006. We will have a screening of this film August 23, 2008. From the 50 Yard Line

The March-a-Thon 2008 Fundraiser has officially started! This was one of our biggest fundraisers last year, accounting for 20% of total funds raised by TJ Band. This annual fundraiser provides band members a great opportunity to raise funds towards their account. Due dates and prizes were discussed with the students and March-a-Thon packets distributed to students on Monday, 6/9, during Mini-Camp. Packets need to be completed as soon as possible and placed in the March-a-Thon Completed Packets box located on the table at the back of the band room. Band Boosters will mail the forms as they receive completed packets. If you have not seen the March-a-Thon fundraiser documents, we have attached a file that contains these documents. This is a fundraiser you don't want to miss out on! Please get y9our completed packets in as soon as possible.

Frederick Keys Fundraiser: This year the TJ Band boosters is going to try and run one of the concessions stands at Harry grove Stadium during the Frederick Keys baseball games and other events at Harry Grove Stadium, actually 2 stands. They are "Hot Corner grill" (serving burgers/dogs/cheeesteaks,sodas,beer) and Keys Creamery (serving ice cream and sodas). This will be an awesome change to defray some of you band fees.
