The March-a-Thon 2008 Fundraiser
has officially started! This was one of our biggest fundraisers last year, accounting for 20% of total funds raised by TJ Band. This annual fundraiser provides band members a great opportunity to raise funds towards their account.
Due dates and prizes were discussed with the students and March-a-Thon packets distributed to students on Monday, 6/9, during Mini-Camp.
Packets need to be completed as soon as possible and placed in the March-a-Thon Completed Packets box located on the table at the back of the band room. Band Boosters will mail the forms as they receive completed packets.

Keys/Harry grove Concession Stand
This year the TJ Band boosters is going to try and run one
of the concessions stands at Harry grove Stadium during the
Frederick Keys baseball games and other events at Harry Grove
Stadium, actually 2 stands. They are "Hot Corner grill"
(serving burgers/dogs/cheeesteaks,sodas,beer) and Creamery
(serving ice cream and sodas). This will be an awesome change
to defray some of you band fees. Please try and work a few
of the dates into your schedule.
If you can't help on a particular night please come by and
support the Keys and the stand. Please let friends and family
in the area know that if the come to a keys game, ahead over
to the third base. |

This fundraiser is to sell banner ads to local business
to hang on the football stadium fence |

blankets - are available for $42. There is a sign up
sheet available to schedule sellers at the football games. All
profits from the game sales will go to the general fund. |

- has given us a fundraiser kit that has coupons in it. If someone
rents a storage unit with this coupon, the band will be given
$25. |

| Calendar
- Band Parents with digital cameras, anyone with extra time
please hang out with the band kids and snap photos while they
are at work and play during their days practicing throughout
the year. We will be creating a calendar for 2007 that will

CelticFest
Fundraiser: Mark your calendars, May 2009 will be
the next Celtic Fest. This is an Scottish celebration at the
Urbana Firehall's field. There will be 2 shifts to pick from
and we serve burgers, fries, bbq beef, Sausage/Kilbasa, chicken
fingers, fries and drinks. |

Colorfest
Fundraiser
Mark your calendars, October 11 & 12, 2008 will
be the Colorfest. This is a fundraiser in which the band staffs
a booth for High Conncession during Colorfest in return they
give us a portion of the sales. There will be 4 shifts to
pick from and we serve burgers, fries, bbq beef, and drinks.
We really need all 4 shifts staffed to make this work. |
